Drax Group sources its electricity primarily from Drax Power Station, located near Selby in North Yorkshire. This power station generates energy using sustainable biomass, which is sourced from responsibly-managed, established forests. In addition to biomass, Drax also collaborates with around 2,300 independent UK-based generators through power purchase agreements (PPAs).
