Who are EON Next?
E.ON Next for Business, introduced in 2020, was established as a streamlined, customer-focused arm of the wider E.ON Group, designed to better serve residential customers and smaller UK businesses. The supplier places a strong emphasis on digital-first account management, clear billing and improved customer experience.
E.ON Next operates on Octopus Energy’s Kraken technology platform, which underpins its customer service and billing systems. This platform enables faster issue resolution, clearer usage visibility and more responsive support, helping businesses manage their energy accounts more efficiently. Dedicated UK-based support teams are a key part of this model, particularly for microbusinesses and SMEs that value simplicity and accessibility.
Following E.ON’s acquisition of npower in 2019, many former npower business customers were migrated onto E.ON Next, allowing for consolidated account management and ongoing support under the E.ON brand. Today, E.ON Next supplies business electricity and gas across the UK, with options that include fixed-price contracts and renewable-backed electricity tariffs, supporting businesses that want greater cost certainty alongside progress towards lower-carbon energy use.

EON Next Out of Contract & Deemed Rates
Businesses on out-of-contract or deemed rates often pay significantly more for their energy, as no active supply agreement is in place.
These temporary tariffs offer no price certainty and can increase quickly. Reviewing your current rates and switching to a fixed-term energy contract can help lower costs and give your business greater control over future pricing.
If no contract is agreed, businesses supplied by Scottish Power Business Energy will automatically be placed on deemed or out-of-contract tariffs, which are typically far higher than standard fixed rates.
Businesses moving into premises already supplied by Scottish Power Business Energy will also default to these rates unless a new agreement is arranged. Securing a fixed contract early can result in substantially lower energy costs.
You should avoid staying on these rates any longer than necessary.

I am an administrator of a group of Care homes, and WeSave were extremely helpful in helping me secure attractive, competitive deals for our utilities going forward. What I like about this company is that they were not pushy at all and provide excellent customer service once you have secured the deals.
Mark Taylor
I'm treasurer of several operations within the village, covering 4 sites and 6 fuel contracts. Rob of WeSave was able to find and agree contracts for the sites which were due for renewal or out of contract and I will be happy for him to provide the remaining contracts as they become due. He gave a professional service and arranged everything for us.

From my initial contact to speaking things through with Rob everything was made extremely simple and and at no time did I feel pressured in to making an immediate decision. It was a refreshing experience having dealt with numerous brokers and comparison companies in the past and to top it all they are actually based in Cornwall !!
Joise Warne
We Save was recommended to me by a fellow business owner, as they had a good experience for their electric comparison. We also had a very good experience and decided to go with their quote. Polite and courteous staff (we used Rob) and exceptionally good communication and timely responses. I am also assured that there is also very good after service should this be needed.
James Spargo
Excellent Service from Alex and the team. We worked together and they helped us all the way.
Highly Recommended!
